Yeah, those spokes are all suspect now. I really like the wheels, though (105 hubs, Ambrosio rims), so I'll probably end up re-building them eventually.

I have a red and silver 84 Comp TA and a red and white 87 Ironman. Both are in good condition. The Comp TA is a 53, which fits very well. The Ironman is a 55, which also fits.

I use them. The original looks are pretty heavy, but they work great, don't cost a lot and are "appropriate upgrades" for mid-late 80s bikes.
