just a curiosity thing, what does the TPI rating on a tyre really mean?

i understand that it refers to the number of thread count per square inch of tyre (is this even right?) but in real world...

i also suggest checking your lockring before every ride, or at least once a week, just in case

you're better off 'wasting' 2 mins to check it before you leave than risking damage to your rear hub...

it's not so much the gear ratio you need to be concerned with when you have short legs, it's the crank arm length

this is important when you are shorted/have short legs as your feet wont have to...
