I mashed down with my right and lifted my left....

I mashed down with my right and lifted my left. I'm also riding clipless and have huge legs from Hockey, Football and Track lmao. I think that really helped.

I'll vouch for the R3 as well, rode it the other...

I'll vouch for the R3 as well, rode it the other day and I weigh 220lbs and felt no flex going up hills. Pretty easy to climb with the R3 and the geometry was comfy as hell and light!

I have the Sylvan Lites which are similar to these... if you're sporting clips and strap there's no reason you'd be slipping out of them... unless you're riding backwards with gale force winds...
