I have done the century ride once. I found it to be quite hard to do!!!! I did finish. It is in a great area thats for sure. If you like climbing you will like this ride.

I use specialized fatboy slicks on my psuedo rode bike. Fatboys pump up to 100psi. The tires will make a big differance. I wouldn't worry about the cassette and front chain rings untill you start...

just bought a new carbon seat post. My thoughts.

purchaced a easton ec sp 70 seat post and have used it a few times now. I am realy surprised how it has tamed the bumps in the road!!! I ride an aluminum frame and the differance in road vibration...
