Check out Predeco they have a clean system. maybe they would sell you the components. Their bikes are way less and assembled in the US.

The shuttle bike is very stable from all directions, it's wide, making it very difficult to tip. well designed. Probably won't outrun dedicated water craft but they don't fit into a small back...
