Thanks. Good to know about the clamp sizes, although if they're rounding off 34.9, they really should put it as 35, not 35.0.

It's a DC25 rear hub on a Trek 3500. From what I can find via google, the hub is made by Alexrims and it's an 8/9spd hub. So I guess I'm OK.

I've been using my 7.5FX to commute to campus and it really is a nice bike. But sometimes the student population is so dense when I'm riding that I have to jump off into the dirt/grass to dodge them....
