that could be the problem because it has happened to my vt2 and my iguana. do you just mean the nuts r loose or that i need to grease the seat post.

i got hayes nine and they r easy to bend and the calipers move with the wheel off.
once i finish a race i just hose my bike down and alway dry it well. so it doesnt rust.
