It's not period correct. I don't like Red mechanical either. Ok with E-Tap. Rather have that bike with some campy Record or Shimano Dura Ace from its year.

If it were for the marketing side of things, I'd think the Venge would be the type of bike used for Crit racing. Especially the Elite. Put some 60mm rims on it and you've got the ideal crit racer....

Nevermind. A TCR for $700 might be hard to find but keep looking. These are $4200 bikes, no way they are letting go for that. Keep searching, you might find a 2009-2012 TCR for that, good bikes too.
