Thanks guys, I think I probably will just stick with getting a ht for pretty cheap and putting fox shox on it so Its good for xc, and then just rent when i go away.

How well would a hardtail hold up at a bike park, such as whistler bike park? not the DJ trails or extreme dh, but fast trails with some nice kickers, maybe some northshore. seems to me like everyone...
