I gave serious consideration to aero wheels but the roads here, Ireland, are Chronic to say the least. Replacement cost of CF aeros would be prohibitive to me.

I practically did, this is Ireland! Rain, very bad road surfaces and lots of road grit. Maybe it was a faulty one as the top ball bearing wheel seems fine.
