Been riding this Raleigh on/off since this post...

Been riding this Raleigh on/off since this post in this configuration and works fine. I do need to tighten the bottom bracket every once in a while but good for multiple 20 mile rides with no issues....

I got the Tektren Brake and levers are long enough but the bolt that connects through the steer tube is too short. I cant get the axle nut through the opening either because its diameter is larger...
