Velocity Rear hub (brand new) Should I grease/service or not?

I got a new Spartacus wheelset for a good price. I like how they look but I heard their freehubs had trouble in the past. Should I do any preventative greasing/servicing or will this not help?

Only problem is I can't get it to register cadence, mph, distance, nothing. I'm sure the computer is on too.
