Recently it was on those Amazon deal of the day for 260 something. By the time I found out about it they only had Pink left. Anyway looks like a nice bike.

If it is Dahon you need to test it ( the one you are taking home). Dahon do seem to have a clicking sound problem it is annoying. I just return mines.

For 289 that seem like a great bike for fitness but really any Walmart bike single speed (bmx) can keep you fit. I lost 35 pounds using a no frill single speed company road bike for 20 hours a week...

Hate to say this, but dont buy the trek, it encourages the seller to steal another one. A person that brought it new would rather keep it then sell it for 200 dollar, a few trip to the supermarket...

One of my classmates has the Gotham 7, she would cycle it from building to building in NYC. I have never try it, but she told me it is a little on the slow side but she's able to swirl around people...

Thanks for the info, I was looking at there website and the prices are very reasonable as I'm not a brand person. I do know how to put together a bike easily but just not sure exactly the condition...
