Thanks all, I'm gonna take this tool back on Monday and explain how crap it was, The guy went on about how easy this chain was to put together, took it out of the box and showed me, yes just hooks...

OK was out on my mountain bike this morning the chain broke, after I did the 2 mile walk of shame home of to buy a new chain I went, my previous chain was old, very old, we are talking 20 odd years...
