Thanks for the advice.
The cable does not rattle when I ride, there's just a lot of friction when pulling the brake lever.
I'll bring it back to my LBS to get that fixed.

I've got the Hotshot Pro 80 too. When I ride by myself i use one of the blinking modes with high output for visibility.
When I ride with other people, I use the solid mode and reduce the output...

Rear brake cable rubbing in top tube on CAAD12

Hi all,

I just purchased my first road bike, a CAAD12 105.
The rear brake cable seems to "rub" somewhere in the top tube, making a lot of noise and quite a bit of friction.

It's my first time...

For me, what would really make a difference is if the "Steadypulse" mode delivers on its promise.
