Tapping a French bb to English thread

hiw did you add brass? Did you mean by melting with a torch like mapp gas or so you need more heat or what did you do?

No, their older park wrench had that flip/ flop that fit a English/ Japanese on one side, and the Stronglight TA cranks on the other. I used it many times in the old bike shop that I worked in.

lol, thats not correct!. You need the center...

lol, thats not correct!. You need the center piece to press against the bottom bracket spindle or all youre doing is threading in half the tool!

Good PA route for the road

I did this route, below, quite a while ago, from West Alexander, Pa., to the free bridge in Easton, I'd try to do most of it on a weekend though. Theres 15000 feet of climbing so be prepared for it....
