I love to ride in the rain...it cools you off, makes you feel good knowing that most don't ride in the rain. Shoes can take a while to dry. Clean up lube a must!

I had a similar problem fixed by by lbs. He did exactly what the The Fixer said...straighted the hanger, adjusted the cable tension and adjusted the limit screw. Now it works perfectly.

Try the 28's! I have a Specialized Sequoia and recently put 28mm Armadillo's on. So far a much softer ride and no flats after about 800 miles. I even had room for 35mm fenders.
