Thanks for the advice, ya'll.

Think I'm just going to stick with the 3x7 until time comes for me to upgrade to 2x11 on my '08 Roubaix and just move the 105 2x9 that's on it down.

The RSX is still in great condition. Recently cleaned out the shifters, replaced the cables, and it just doesn't shift as clean as the newer 2x9 105 gruppo I have on my '08 Roubaix. I hate the triple...

Why does everyone keep their stems so high when you convert to drop bars? Is it a geometry thing?
