Touch up on velochrome finish

Another general question. How does one touch up a frame that has the velochrome candy apple red varnish finish? The frame is fully chromed underneath.thanks

I thought Kent WA was the place of manufacture for Raleigh USA. Were there subcontractors who built these frames , like Strawberry or Bruce Gordon? Thank you

1989 Sampson SR pedal overhaul

Has anyone overhauled the original Sampson SR pedals? They are cup and cone type but the spindle runs through the cleat attachment and makes adjustment tricky. Any tips? thanks
