I'd say 1.75lbs is pretty noticeable on the wheels and you'd be happy to lose it.. Especially off jumps the bike will feel much less rigid and more maneuverable IME. I have Mulefut 80's with 4.8"...

Thanks! My other bike is a freestyle BMX bike, 2 pegs, no breaks, 20" wheels. I love that bike too, but it's just so nice to ride out in nature instead of a skatepark or street!
