We have a Burley mountain tandem already and searching a road tandem . Which is a better bike for the long term ? What are the pros and cons of each bike ?

We always unclipped one of the pedal when we stop at light/stop sign . we have no problem to clip on flat/hill,just need practice thats all .

we have a burley zydaco X frame.My wife is 5' and I am 5' 4''. we love the bike and the ride is excellent.In 2 years we rode 6330 km.we try to ride as much as we can.
