I was able to make an (MTB) 11spd xtr work with a 10spd XT cassette... but limiting two cogs is a stretch... I'm very unfamiliar with road bike stuff... If it won't work, I'll go further to get a 10...

Can I pair sora2020 shifters with a 6800 ultegra rear derr and expect it to be functional (shifting smoothly as it should)? Or... Even after adjustment, the derr won't shift properly with the sora...
