1989 Gary Fisher Hybrid dirt drop bike looks all original and in very good shape.. I have one that I got with almost drivetrain related busted or heavily worn, it fits 700c 40mm tires....

I might be a bigger fan of these ~1990'ish steel hybrids with lots of tire clearance than the old 26" rigid mtb's. This one isn't so cheap though....

Not that model but I have an 80's Miele Tange 5 road bike given to me last year, I did a flat bar conversion and put 32mm tires on it. Tange 5 is pretty heavy, bike is probably 28lbs.

Tried this on a few different rigid 90s ATB's over the years but always reverted back to < 600mm flats, just felt more fun and sketchy that way riding around the neighbourhood, sharing heavy traffic...
