It's all tiagra and 105, but I've always liked the setup. I've considered selling it, but wouldn't be able to get enough to justify the sale.

That's what I did. I got a cheap bike a lot like yours, put tires and tubes on it and went riding. Then the next year when I was sure I likes it, I went out and bought a new bike.

If it's just gravel and grass, don't worry about it. I take my road bike on the path all the time. Just upgrade the tires to something with some bite, or you'll be popping them all the time.
