Correct, the original owner also tried to put a 26 tooth FW on it. The NR RD really struggled to get good shifting all the time. When I dropped it to a 24 all was better.

That was what I thought as well. As a promo it may have been old stock rejuvenated but the headset, seatpost, and tubing stickers all validated what I was presented. Pierino spoke very little English...
