No... the 2004 E5 frame is "Aerotec" Columbus tubing, so ALuminum not Carbon fiber.

I would go with it, I bought a new Fisher last yeear with the Genesis Geometry and I love it. At first it was really uncomfortable, but I slid my seat a little further forward and it helped out alot....
