Thanks guy's, taking it out this afternoon...one question, the fork when i press it down, it's not smooth and linear, it's kind of "notchy" like it goes down in intervals. Is this normal?

I picked up a 2006 Gary Fisher Tarpon locally for 220 cash...really nice bike, mint condition.
