Well , the logical place to discuss pedal options I think is BF ; there may be a good reason why they offer the MKS Promenade EZY and not the ones your considering .
MKS pedals are made in Japan . ...

Yes , it has to do with size of the bike , geometry , and riding position .
Also keep in mind your foot size . If your smaller , the promenade ezy could work for you .
