Updated Photo: Added Blackburn EX-1 Rack and Zefal Paragon fenders. Had to put on the fenders to make the rack fit around the seat stays. Also has to make the front fender in to a "race blade"...

I agree. If you're just looking for more gear inches swap out your largest chainring for a larger one. WAY cheaper and you keep your hill climbing gear range.

So few spokes on the rear wheel...I'd be afraid to load too much back there. Looks pretty backwards...the fewer spoked wheel is usually in front, where less weight/stress is.

Ah, very sly...runnin' single chainring; no front derailuer. My last commuter was setup that way, 1x8. Now I ride 1x1 :D
