A smoked paint job DB Ascent EX is not a pile. It's essentially an Apex, which is essentially an Axis. Shame it got stolen, that is one of the best paint jobs on a production MTB.

Nice Bike; that looks pretty cherry. 1990s Konas are my favorite bikes.

The paint on the old Explosif Pro was custom, just like the Hot - you could get any paint scheme you wanted.
