If you correctly follow the multi-layer protocol, you will go through a lot of mastik. Just getting two tires done per 250gr can is probably a bit excessive but I can easily see using two 30gr tubes...

If you can get 30g tubes from LBS for a reasonable cost (+no shipping!), then using tubes is only slightly more expensive than getting a can. Tubes are much easier to apply from and you wont risk...
