I have sparrows on my Vitus, they are super comfy and a nice compromise between road drops and more relaxed city-bike bars. They're definitely not made for a ton of reach though.

Thanks, I basically chose the frame because of the price+the red colour.

The fork is fairly tight but comes off the steerer tube at an angle, so its straightness is slightly misleading.

Sure but "quality" can mean 2 things, either they're durable street tires or they're light grippy race tires. The former are heavy and probably less grippy and the latter are not very flat-resistant....
