Whether he "didn't get around to it" or was never going to do it in the first place makes little difference - the bike is what it is.

If you're going to pay $800 for a bike that cost $821 a year...

Not sure why he replaced the front and rear mech with Dura-Ace but left the rest the same. I don't quite see the point of upgrading the derailleurs to DA but leaving the shifters at Tiagra level. So...
