Whatever 10 speed chain you use it will use a connecting link missing or quick link at least one comes with the chain when you buy it, most can be used multiple times so this shouldn't be an issue.

As for getting good shifting the Cranks and front DR may be questionable this is something that is hard to tell until you get everything setup. A lot of time 10speed type brifters don't play nice...
