My 2017 Roubaix Comp will clear 32c Panaracer Gravel King SKs. The tight spot is either the seat tube or the front derailleur arm, they both look to be about the same clearance. Sloppy picture:

I'll double check, but thought I followed the instructions. With no shims I could fit a piece of paper or two in the gap, just enough to rattle on gravel roads.

Edit: Went home, disassembled it....
