And fitting 26" wheels to a 29'er wouldnt work -- unless you dont like to have a brake - but the bike is physically too big -- aesthetically it would be horrible ,...

Have a 29" Big Flyer at home too, so i can echo what SkinGriz said about 26" being at the upper end --- The 29'er can be a handful on tight...
