Yep. I doubt bike shops are covered the same, but in Michigan an auto shop must provide a written estimate before doing any work, and get a signed approval if that is to change more than $20 by law....

Oh, I imagined it when I was planning on going to Iceland alone. The place I park in Toronto has the full size Ford vans as transport, so it was going to involve a nice tip to the driver for folding...
