Well, I think Dan's was selling it in the back-to-school catalog for around 340-350, so that deal makes sense.

Yeah, that makes sense about the crank. The 1 Star is only 170mm (the 4 stars are 180). The 4 star actually seems good for taller riders (20.75" TT Brass, 21" TT Lux).

I'd like to second haro bmx87's question about the Mosh bikes (I asked it myself in a different thread). Are the high-end ones worth the slashed prices?

Mosh Bikes

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you had any experience with Mosh Bikes (you all probably know how cheap they are at Dan's). I was interested in the Lux 3 or 4 Star, but I don't know anyone who...

First tune up

I bought my bike two weeks ago. My LBS offers one free tune-up in the first 90 days. Do you think it's better to get this tune-up earlier or later? My rear wheel is a little out of true, but,...

I thought I'd add that I've seen the 2002, 2003, and 2004 models all within $260-300. Also, I'm a big dude (225 lbs.), so abuse threshold is very important.

Thanks again.

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a Haro Backtrail 24. I have seen both the 2003 Nyquist and the 2004 Backtrail in different bike stores for the same price. Anyone have any experience with these...
