I would add that at best it saves some space in a bedroom. Beyond that it's still a pretty big package for a folding bike, so only buy if it looks in decent shape and you think it's kinda cool.

Hydraulic discs are very powerful with good modulation. They should work well for you but you definitely have to relearn braking from older systems, especially if you're used to caliper road brakes....
