So I used to have sram red 10 sp on my old bike .

Now am I correct that if I was going to build out a 1*9 that I would see not difference ( except weight ) between Force , red or even apex ?...

Called sram .. red is the only ones with zero...

Called sram .. red is the only ones with zero lose. So you could use Red shifters with rival , apex and get the benefits of zero loss. But using force or any other shifter you will only get zero loss...

sram components differences?

Besides weight what is the difference...
I mean is it the shifters or the RD that is the big deal. So Could I use the rival shifter with the red RD and still get the same fell and trustworthy ****...

So the biggest reason why some one would get a carbon wheel set over and alum set is for comfort?
I mean you can have an aero rim lighter in alum ( I mean the smaller ones not the 50 - 80 ).
