Back in town

Sorry for belated responses, I went to eroica CA and turned it into a week-long family vacation in wine country. So the head tube length is 146mm and stack height for campy headset is about 38 iirc,...

I recall

I recall a thread saying that 15 years ago or so a bunch of mondonico forks landed on ebay. I'm hoping somebody back then bought one they didn't need and still has it available :)

I'm looking for a Mondonico fork

Hi! I bought a Mondonico frame without a fork and I am looking for a chrome original fork if anybody has one. Frame is 56cm.

I bought this frame and fork locally, they have matching SN (D55). Not sure the year but it appears to be an Air 2001 model. It had non original paint and decals when I bought it, so I did a re-paint...

Follow up

As a follow up to the thread, I sold the bike locally because it wasn't my size. It is actually 56cm, not 58 as advertised when I bought it. The head tube is deceiving. Anyhow, the new owner reached...

Exactly. I was kinda thinking (hoping!?) the same thing. If nobody else out there that we know of has a Masi with Joe's name on the bottom, it does suggest that this was a one off build, possibly for...

Hi! Just wanted to share a recent local find because I think it's pretty special. It's a red Masi 3V pista frame and fork. The BB shell is stamped with a date code 09/01/89 and the name of the...

What about the lugs?

Thanks guys. Can we at least get a positive ID on the lugs? Here are my thoughts...the Tange dropouts and British threading make me think Japanese make, but the reynolds sticker, lugs and overall...

I checked for a date stamp on the hub lock nut as suggested, and it says 72, so this was also right after the 100km record in 71.
