I did check for "SLX" at the BB shell but no discernible "ridges" by sight or feel. I was going with the "SL" due to that, definitely a 27.2mm seat tube I.D.. It doesn't appear to have been...

Rossin frameset Salvaged

My bike collective is closing (very bummed out!) and someone was trying to figure out what make/model this frame is; I grabbed a 27.2mm post to check fit, and voila, perfect! I guess they didn't...

Bing saddle

Odd saddle: Bing, might be for a juvenile due to smaller size. Anyone with knowledge regarding this saddle? The seller had no info to impart.

How was your ride? Looks good with the "EVOL" stem, always liked their newer designs. I use the "Mutant" on many builds, but hard to find the quill type anymore. Here's a shot of my X-Status...

1970 Raleigh Sports "Cross Bike"

Went out for a spin to Kanapaha Park (Gainesville, FL) and then tried it on the trails for a couple miles. Not too bad for a heavy ride with road tires except for the fallen trees. All original...

GT "SATURN" Team frame set

Actual Saturn team bike. I don't know if the frame design was unique to the pro team or also produced for retail sales. I'd assume the sizing is custom made for the rider (in this case Brian Walton)....

Bianchi Auto-Milano

I agree with whole heartedly about the testing out of this bike; I'll do a solid 10 miles on it before I loan it or give away.

I actually had to buy 2 bikes when I got the Bianchi; it came with a...

I am preparing to start a build up of a Berardi (model(?): Pierino), year as early as 1975 due to pre-lease/testing of Campagnolo's "Portacatena"/"Chain Carrier" in 1977. This information gathered...
