I think ideally I'd use the front, center mounted boss above the tire. I'd definitely want to keep the adjustability the GoPro mount offers as I have no idea what the "perfect" angle would be.

If you want to try something different in the future try the Panaracer T-Serv. I've got them in 700x32 on my commuter and they feel lively enough, even with the puncture resistant belt.

Loved these pedals but they were a little wide for the more aggressive riding I was doing. Swapped them out for narrower ISSI Flip 3. Miss the auto rotate feature and the reflectors.
