I had been looking for a well priced pre-1991 lugged 970, 950, or 930 for a while. I think 1991 is when they switched from 1" to 1 1/8" stems. Luckily, I stumbled across this 1989 950 in my top color...

If you are currently using a bag or plan to get one, don't use a backpack. Get a pannier or something that hangs off the bike, not you. The airflow makes a huge difference.

From almost everything I've read, the wheels appear to be 27". The bike has the original wheelset and is currently being shipped from the west coast-- I should probably just wait to look myself but...
