I then tried to put Super Lube grease in there with a pick, but not sure how much got where because there isn't much free space...

That does not make sense. The instruction covers both the double and triple crankset and only advises to use the 5600 or 6600 chain for the triple. No such advisory for double crank.

No. The Randonneur is available with and without reflective stripe. Both tires were Marked Vittoria Randonneur 700 x 32. Neither the new or old was Randonneur Pro because that is a folding tire.
