Trek has been slow to let us know what is going on with the 2018s in certain models. You can see them on websites for bike shops but Trek is not updating their website for whatever reason.

It's came with 50mm tires since its first year. Seems most riders, myself included, mount up a thinner set of tires. Mine has 700x38s on it.

Giant still seems to have stock of the 2017s. Both the SLR1 and SLR2 are other in stock or have "limited stock" on the Giant website. If you were waiting on the 2018s then check on the 2017s.

Trek and Cannondale are both "high end" brands. Don't concern yourself with that. After looking over the specs on both of these go with the bike that fits you better. They both have trade offs....

Go to the "hybrid" forum and use the search button. There are Plenty of threads there on the Toughroad SLR2. Colonel Sanders is very knowledgeable about that particular bike.
