I know, but the hubs are basically the same. Chuck has two Trek wheelsets and one is cup and cone and the other has radial bearings. Other than that the hubs are nearly the identical.

If the races are ok you could reuse the bb, but a sealed Sq. drive will last longer with no maintenance. My two shimanos have over 20,000 miles each.

I can only guess, but I think the wrench would be 11mm. That's my experience with Trek hubs of a friends.

You can remove the QR and tread it through a nut large enough to go over the axle and install it on the right side of the hub. When you close the QR it compress the axle as it would be on the bike....

On radial bearings there should be a slight amount of play...
