Same goes for climbing, lungs give up before the legs.
On flats, I sometimes have to coast a few secs, because...

It's a decent lezyne pump, and I pump the tires until it gets pretty hard to put more air through...

He was/is the perfect scapegoat. Plenty of dutch pro riders came clean about their dope use shortly after the armstrong period and no one cared at all.

Footage from this older TDF (2001/2002?) surprised me.
Look how Lance Armstrong sits on his bike. The saddle looks way too low, while the frame looks to big.
This pretty much goes against all...

Advice needed. Buying second hand bike, budget ~$600

I made a thread earlier about a practically new fuji roubaix 1.3. Unfortunately the seller mistaked the frame size and the bike was too small for me.

So I am still out searching for my first bike...

I bought the shimano PD-A520 SPD as my first clipless pedals. They are a bit larger so I can also use regular shoes whenever I need to.
Clipping in and out is very easy and reliable. They are also...

No experience with the race bikes from B'twin. But I bought the cheapest MTB from them, rockrider 340, and it has been amazing for the price.
I would definitely trust the brand.

Paused two or three times to smoke...

Would this be a solid buy for a first modern road bike? Fuji Roubaix 1.3 2015

I've ridden an old raleigh (1977 TI I think) for about a year. A bit heavy at ~30 lbs, but rides well, recently did a first imperial century with it.

I think I want to upgrade to a more modern...
