Thats almost identical to my kidarooz...mine is heavy...esp. considering the kids, cooler etc. But it pulls wonderfully. Perhaps today I will get a picture up of my tractor trailer lol

Makes sense to me...sespecially in an urban/city environment if the load is moderate and time/speed is a concern. My experience in utility is that whatever works is.

Vibration isolation is the key...pieces of foam (like mattress topper pads) help AMAZINGLY well... But eat space in panniers etc. A backpack works because our bodies isolate the jars from the road....

My true tire size for both bikes is 26x1.95....rims on the 1990s Raleigh m50 are weinmann 519's...the Jamis explorer has weinmann 520's. They appear identical if any of this helps lol
