I am a little confused by this....if you are stating bike helmets would have to be more like motorcycle helmets to protect from more than one blow, this is incorrect.

Beautiful bike!

On the fork...I think sometime in the late 2000's Moots changed the fork. Also, my fork is an RSL fork...not sure if that makes a difference or not.
